I wish what you said were true in the corporate world. Imagine this scenario: You make a promise to complete the project and but you don&#039;t. You worked hard. But the project is not complete. You expect your boss to recognize your efforts. Imagine there is another person who makes a promise and also lives up to it.
Who will your boss recognize?
Remember that I didn&#039;t talk about your happiness or self-respect on doing your job. You got to enjoy the journey but the world will typically reward results not the efforts.
IMHO of course.

I think people definitely appreciate the efforts you are putting into it. I understand the Corporate life is result oriented, but not only product is improtant, but process is also equally important.
Why even to guage the results based on what others think? How about self respect? You will be definitely satisfied if you know you have given your best possible efforts for it but somehow it doesn&#039;t show the results as you expect. I think you are still winner from your perspective.
