I just cannot agree with Ravi’s article. I believe its quite easy to rip almost any marketing document. The purpose of the document is not to answer ALL your questions. That would make the document useless for non-technical people.
The entire conversation is one sided. He is asking valid questions, but he may not be looking at the right place for answers.
This would be valid if someone at salesforce had a chance to answer his questions.

Sagar, I can’t speak for Ravi but I think his point was that Salesforce.com could get a lot more customers by stating their security policy more explicitly rather than using cliche words like “world class”, “robust” etc.
It is a viewpoint and I agree and sincerely hope that someone from Salesforce.com will have a chance to respond.

I think it is an honor to be referred on Rajesh’s web site. It is much easier for non-technical people to understand a security scorecard rather than drilling into the details themselves. Also, there are customers who have eye for details and they might drift to competitors (or elsewhere) who have a more compelling security posture.
