		<description>I know what the Professor means here, and in theory, I agree with him. But there are two exceptions that come to mind. 1) When what you do the rest of the time you&#039;re NOT working brings your life its deepest meaning (volunteering, painting, writing poetry, spending time with your children) and you like your job a lot, though you can live without it BUT you cannot support your large family at half the salary. 2) You can find an almost identical job that pays what you make now at a different company or organization that you could grow to believe in as much as your current company or organization. Anyway, I want to take a course with any professor who puts forth this quought - that&#039;s the kind of person I want to learn from!
