On one side, at the plan level, everything looks rosy. Only when you start executing, you start having problems. On the other side, your plan may be flawed but superb execution won’t be able to salvage it. This particular proverb beautifully puts this point across

This gem of a poem was forwarded to me by my always insightful friend Mukundan. This is not a quote but it’s a poem by Mother Theresa. I am including it here because when I read it, the poem looks like a collection of great quotes. Hope you will enjoy it.



People are often unreasonable, illogical, & self-centered;

This trip to India has been exciting on many fronts. Apart from meeting my family and getting together with old friends, I was blessed to get an opportunity to be see Sri Sathya Sai Baba in Whitefield, Bangalore. It was an experience to be cherished. Here is one quote that I picked up at the entrance of Brindavanam, the place where Sri Sathya Sai Baba resides when he is in Bangalore. The quote captures the essence of service beautifully.
